About Me

My professional experience and interests lean towards working with mixed-domain mechatronic systems that leverage the hard, soft, and firm to do genuinely novel things. Robotics, and similarly dense, diverse systems are what excite me the most. Moving parts always a plus!

I have enjoyed working in numerous problem spaces so far and have been consistently recognised for how quickly and intuitively I can make sense of, and then build in new technical domains. I'm pretty full-stack, but do have a real soft spot for very early problem spaces; discovering constraints and zippy critical paths is just as satisfying as the technical work itself for me.'

These days, I'm most interested in optimising creative processes and solving problems systemically with really savvy architecture. I like finding fresh ways to apply solid conventions to seemingly impossible problems, I'm convinced this is how robotics will scale.

Original and tangible outcomes are the common thread in everything I enjoy. All of my many hobbies involve making one thing or other, and it's pretty much always been this way for me. Making is learning, and I love learning.
